ASSISTANT & MILLINER APPRENTICE FOR MILL & HABS

We’re seeking both part-time and full-time team members to support our Founder & Head Milliner in crafting one-of-a-kind hats and managing day-to-day operations.

This unique role is perfect for someone passionate about learning the art of hat-making while taking on essential tasks like inventory ordering, product shipping, organizing the studio, and assisting with event setup and breakdown. As a key assistant and “right hand” to the Founder, you will also provide personal and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Qualifications:

· Strong interest in millinery craftsmanship, design, and the fashion industry

· Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

· Proactive and resourceful problem solver with a can-do attitude

· Ability to manage schedules, appointments, and daily correspondence

· Inventory management & shipping management

· Tech-savvy with knowledge of basic software (email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools)

· Willingness to assist with hands-on tasks and day-to-day operations

· Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain discretion with sensitive information and high profile clientele

· Flexibility to work events, including setup and breakdown, when needed

· Outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
